“ One of my favorite spots to come to when I want a GOOD meal! Their AYCE is off the hook! Delicious, fresh, and fast! Costs a bit but it's worth it 100%! ”
“ Nice sushi restaurant. Clean with nice ambience. Staff is friendly and helpful. There's plenty of inside seeting. They have a great happy hour menu. It ends at 6pm. Needless to say, it gets super busy. The food is fresh and good and the prices are reasonable especially for happy hour. Portions are adequate. ”
“ My husband took me here for my birthday dinner, and overall, I’d give the restaurant a solid four stars. The service started off great—the waiters were very attentive and made sure our table was always taken care of. The restaurant itself was clean, calm, and had a nice romantic atmosphere, which made the evening feel special. The food was good, but I do have a few critiques. The sushi rolls were generous in size, so you’ll definitely leave full. My favorite was the shrimp tempura roll—it was crispy, flavorful, and well-balanced. The spider roll was also delicious with its crispy soft-shell crab, and the sumo roll ended up being my husband’s favorite (my second favorite). The Las Vegas roll was decent, but it had a flavor I didn’t quite enjoy. As for appetizers, we tried the chicken gyoza, which were decent, though the sauce was way too salty—it tasted like plain soy sauce. I would’ve preferred something more sweet and savory to balance it out. We also ordered the spicy chicken, but it really lacked spice, and the spicy garlic edamame could’ve used more seasoning as well. I also had the crab hand roll, which was good but, again, the crab filling was bland and needed more flavor. The same goes for the crab in the sushi—it just didn’t stand out. For nigiri, we ordered tuna, salmon, and shrimp. Personally, I prefer wild salmon or tuna for better quality and flavor, so I’d recommend checking on that before ordering. A couple of downsides: we had to wait about an hour to be seated, even though there were empty tables, and the Coke they served was flat with no carbonation, so I didn’t even want a refill. Despite these small setbacks, I really enjoyed the dinner. The rolls were tasty and filling, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was lovely. I’d definitely come back again. ”
“ The best AYCE sushi we have had. This IS our go to sushi spot in OC. The food is superbly fresh and clean and has you wanting to get more and more. Try everything they have to offer. Or, don't bother with the generic appetizers and head straight for the sushi. The staff is generally good, but it can take some time to get their attention. But that is because they are ALWAYS so busy! But the food here is absolutely the star of the show. I think it is OC's best spot! ”
“ Tomikawa, a bustling restaurant, had a 45-minute wait on a Sunday at 3:00 p.m. Despite the wait, we decided to give the all-you-can-eat option for $37.95 a try. To our surprise, the quality and atmosphere were amazing. I might even become a regular here. The takeout looks enticingly packed, and I’m definitely coming back. Compared to other sushi restaurants in the Orange County area, the quality of fish at Tomikawa was significantly better. The service was friendly and attentive, making our dining experience enjoyable. ”
